Onego

A puzzle game about programming your own controls.

You don't move directly — instead, you build a sequence of actions and hit GO. Collect movement components scattered across the world, craft them together into usable actions, queue them up, and watch your plan unfold. If something goes wrong, you reset and try again.

How to Play

  1. Explore levels to find component pickups
  2. Open the crafting screen (Tab) and combine components into actions
  3. Drag your actions into the queue in the order you want them to happen
  4. Press GO — the player executes each action in sequence
  5. Reach the exit to clear the level and keep your pickups

Left ClickDrag & place components / actions
Right ClickRemove an action from the queue
GO buttonExecute your action queue

Mechanics

  • Component crafting — combine base components (Player, Move Left, Move Right…) to unlock new actions
  • Action queue — drag actions into slots, reorder them, then run the sequence
  • Blocks — moveable objects that can be pushed, chained together, and used to solve puzzles — or crush you
  • Trappers — toggle-state enemies that open and close as actions are executed
  • Pickups reset on failure — if you don't make it out, collected components are returned to the level
